The London City School District in partnership with Madison County Public Health will host a free COVID19 vaccination clinic on Wednesday, September 29th for any student aged 12 or older or any eligible member of a student’s family wishing to receive the COVID19 vaccination. The vaccination clinic will take place from 1 - 3 pm on a day already scheduled as a two-hour early dismissal to support parent-teacher conferences. All students opting to receive the vaccination must be pre-registered with parent consent. No walk-ins will be accepted. Parents are encouraged to be on-site for their child’s vaccination if at all possible. A follow-up vaccination clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 29th, 2021. The October clinic will be expanded to include younger students if the FDA approves the vaccination for younger children by that time.

The London City School District supports federal, state, and local recommendations that individuals attending or working in schools receive the vaccination if they are comfortable in doing so. The district will continue to partner with Madison County Public Health whenever possible in order to assist in the availability of the COVID19 vaccine to district families.
