Inspirational Educator - Dana Snyder

"Ms. Snyder is an inspiration to me because of her character. She is full of integrity, responsibility, and grit. Having known her for four years now, she has pushed us as FFA officers to figure things out, get stuff done, and lead our members. She is an incredible person who dedicates so much of her life to our program, and that is what I love about her."

Beyond the Classroom: Entrepreneurship & Hobbies

When not involved in school activities, Cooper is actively running multiple business ventures:

  • Managing a landscaping business, a laser engraving business, and payment processing operations.

  • Participating in 4-H projects.

  • Supporting family entrepreneurship at Ohio Roots Boutique—working in-store, assisting at market shows across Ohio, and helping manage inventory.

  • Traveling and spending quality time on family vacations.

Future Plans & Vision

  • Education: Earn a degree in Business through a flexible combination of commuting and online coursework.

  • Business: Scale and grow current business enterprises.

  • Public Service: Run for local office in London's municipal government to serve the community, foster local economic opportunities, and help build a place where families thrive.

  • Long-Term Political Goal: Continue serving in public office with the goal of ultimately serving as a U.S. Senator.

Reflections on Education, Leadership & the Future

On the Educational Journey

"The best thing about my educational experience at London has been the opportunities provided through programs and leadership groups like FFA, HOBY, Class Officers, Athletics, and NHS—building on the foundation set in middle school through Robotics, Future Problem Solvers, and NJHS. These experiences have truly shaped who I am as a person and a leader."

Looking to the Future: Opportunities & Concerns

  • What Inspires Hope: The massive potential for young entrepreneurs over the next decade. With roughly 6 million small and mid-sized businesses currently owned by the Baby Boomer generation, there is an unprecedented opening for young leaders to step up, innovate, and take ownership.

  • What Demands Action: The rise of political and social division across local, state, and national levels. If dedicated individuals do not step up to lead with integrity, unity, and shared values, the strength of our communities and nation is at risk.

A Message to Adults from Today’s Youth

“To the adults, I, along with many other high schoolers and people under 25 years old, are ready to step up and lead our communities, own businesses, and become successful, maybe not in the traditional route but we ask for two things. Encouragement and opportunity.”
