London Preschool was recently recognized at the Central Region Fall Conference of the Ohio School Boards Association for earning the Purple Star Designation. Mrs. Gibson, the building principal, received the award on behalf of the school.
The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Military-connected students may move up to six to nine times during their parent or guardian’s military career, which can result in hardships related to frequent moves, a service member’s absence, or post-deployment reintegration. Schools with the Purple Star designation play a critical role in ensuring continuity, stability, and support for military-connected families when facing these challenges.
