London City Schools is proud to announce its 2026 JASON Argonauts for the upcoming Lift Off Expedition: From Data, to Design, to Impact, taking place in Houston, Texas, from June 22 to June 26. Following a competitive selection process, three outstanding members of the London City Schools community were chosen to represent the district: Logan Pollock, teacher at London Middle School; Vance Barker, a 10th-grade student at London High School; and Kenzie Brooks, an 8th-grade student at London Middle School. This recognition highlights not only their individual achievements but also the district’s continued commitment to providing meaningful, real-world learning opportunities.
The JASON Argonaut program is a prestigious national experience reserved for a select group of students and educators from partner districts. During the expedition, participants work alongside leading scientists and engineers, engaging in hands-on STEM learning that connects classroom knowledge to real-world applications. From research and data collection to design thinking and problem solving, Argonauts gain valuable insight into careers and challenges in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
In addition to their immersive learning experience, Argonauts serve as ambassadors for their schools and communities. Through photos, videos, and presentations, Logan, Vance, and Kenzie will share their journey and inspire others to explore STEM pathways. London City Schools congratulates these three individuals on this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to the impact they will bring back to their classrooms and community.
