London City Schools is proud to announce that its Preschool Program has earned a Gold rating through Ohio’s Step Up to Quality program, the highest designation available for early childhood education programs in the state.
Step Up to Quality, administered by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, is a three-tier quality rating and improvement system for early care and education programs across Ohio. The program recognizes and promotes schools that meet and exceed rigorous quality standards designed to support strong learning environments for young children.
The standards used in Step Up to Quality are based on national research identifying practices that lead to improved outcomes for children. Earning the Gold rating reflects the dedication of London’s preschool staff and their continued commitment to providing high-quality early learning experiences for the district’s youngest students.
