District’s largest academic event will showcase student performances, projects, and hands-on learning experiences.

London City Schools invites students, families, and all members of the community to attend the district’s annual STEAM Festival on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Held across the London City Schools campus, the STEAM Festival is the district’s largest academic event of the year, bringing together students, educators, families, and community partners to celebrate learning in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. The event is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend, explore, and experience the creativity and innovation happening in London classrooms.

Visitors will enjoy a wide range of student performances and interactive experiences throughout the morning. Musical performances from elementary, middle, and high school students, including band, choir, ukulele groups, and the LHS Jazz and Concert Bands, will take place alongside a student film festival. Guests can also explore hands-on activities across the campus, including robotics demonstrations, makerspace stations, art activities, photo opportunities inspired by famous works of art, face painting, and even a petting zoo. Student artwork and projects will be displayed throughout the buildings, highlighting the creativity and problem-solving skills being developed across all grade levels.

Because the STEAM Festival serves as the district’s premier academic showcase, London City Schools does not schedule other district events or athletic contests during the event so students, families, and community members can fully participate. The festival reflects the district’s commitment to engaging learning experiences and strong community connections, and all are welcome to attend this celebration of student creativity, curiosity, and innovation.
