It was a huge week for the Red Raiders, highlighted by tournament victories, state qualifications, and standout individual performances across multiple sports!


🏊 Swimming Success

At the OHSAA Central District tournament meet on February 20, Griffin Lotton earned a 2nd-place finish in the 500 freestyle. This outstanding performance has earned Griffin a trip back to the OHSAA State Championship Swim Meet on Wednesday, February 25th. Congratulations Griffin! 


🏀 Boys Basketball Stays Hot

The Red Raiders earned two impressive wins this week. On February 17, London traveled to face Thurgood Marshall and secured a strong 64-48 victory. The momentum continued on February 21 with a 63-45 home win over Graham. The Raiders are playing their best basketball at the right time of the season. The boys will begin the OHSAA sectional playoffs on Friday, 2/27, away at Bloom Carroll. 


🏀 Girls Basketball Claims Sectional Title

The Lady Raiders dominated in the Sectional Tournament Final, defeating KIPP Columbus 73-3 to capture the sectional championship. Congratulations to the top scorers: Madilyn Adkins (13 points), Addison Lambert (13 points), and Aliyah Tyree (12 points). A tremendous team effort to advance in tournament play! 


🎳 Bowling Sends Athletes to Districts

The Boys Bowling team competed at the Sectional Tournament, where Lane Cremeens qualified for the District Tournament — congratulations, Lane!

On the girls' side, the entire Girls Bowling team qualified for the District Tournament at sectionals. An outstanding accomplishment for the Lady Raiders as they continue postseason competition.


🏃 Indoor Track Qualifies for Big Stages

Competing in Ashland, Cameron Carn captured 1st place in the 800-meter run. The boys' 4x400 relay team — Cameron Carn, Latrell Jackson, Thomas Herman, and Anthony Shoaf — qualified for both Indoor States and Indoor Nationals. An incredible achievement as they prepare for elite competition.


📣 Cheer Competes at State

The cheerleading squad represented London proudly at the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators State Cheer Competition. The girls competed extremely well at the state level — congratulations on a fantastic performance!


🤼 Wrestling Takes Runner-Up Finish

The wrestling team traveled to face Kenton Ridge and finished 2nd overall as a team. Congratulations to the individual placers:
