In partnership with our food service provider, Chartwells, London Elementary School recently participated in Discovery Kitchen. This month, food service staff visited classrooms to read Pete the Cat and the Bad Banana and share a special snack with students. Each student had the opportunity to try cinnamon sugar bananas as part of the activity.
Discovery Kitchen is a cafeteria program that encourages students to explore and try new recipes. February’s theme is Smart Snacking, making this a fun and engaging way to connect nutrition and learning in the classroom.
