Hello London Families,

I wanted to provide you with a brief update as we continue to navigate the aftermath of this historic winter storm.

As we are all experiencing, windy conditions in our county are contributing to colder real-feel temperatures, drifting snow, and changing road conditions. These factors are being closely monitored as we determine whether school can be safely held on time, or at all, each day this week.

Here are a few additional updates to keep everyone informed:

  • All activities are canceled for today (Tuesday, January 27).

  • A decision regarding school for tomorrow will be made later this evening or possibly tomorrow morning, depending on conditions.

  • The Board of Education work session originally scheduled for tomorrow evening to discuss the district strategic plan will be rescheduled for a later date.

  • The two-hour early release for staff professional development, originally scheduled for Thursday, January 29, has been canceled. If we are in session on Thursday, students will be dismissed at the normal time.

Thank you for your patience and continued support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lou Kramer

District Superintendent
