The Red Raiders picked up an impressive home win over Shawnee on Monday, December 8, rolling to a 2302–2150 victory. London’s consistent team scoring helped build a comfortable margin and set the tone early in the winter season.
🏀 Road Success Continues – Varsity Girls Basketball
London girls' basketball had a strong week on the road, highlighted by a 51–36 win at Delaware Hayes and a dominant 64–31 victory over Kenton Ridge. The Lady Red Raiders also traveled to Northwestern on Wednesday, continuing a busy stretch of away games as they build momentum early in the season.
🏀 Close Calls and Competition – Varsity Boys Basketball
The Red Raiders battled in a tightly contested home matchup against Central Crossing on Tuesday, December 9, but came up just short in a 65–64 loss. London also traveled to Tecumseh on Friday, gaining valuable experience as the young season continues.
🏊 Big Results with a Small Roster – LHS Swimming
Despite competing with only four boys swimmers, the Aqua Raiders delivered an impressive 4th-place finish out of 16 teams at Trotwood-Madison. Juniors Caelan Mars and Gabe Scholl earned 2nd- and 3rd-place individual finishes, while Mars, Scholl, James Thomson, and Wyatt Baldwin placed 4th in both the Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay. On the girls’ side, Riley Meyers scored 14 points with a 5th-place finish in the 500 Free. London returns to action on December 20 at the Vandalia Butler Holiday Invitational at Wright State University.
🤼 Strong Showing at Home – Boys Wrestling
The London boys' wrestling team finished 4th overall at the Harry Steel Tournament on Saturday, December 13. The highlight of the day came from Brody Howard, who captured a 1st-place finish to lead the Red Raiders on their home mats.

The girls' wrestling team was scheduled to compete at the Clyde Tournament on Sunday, December 14, but the event was canceled due to dangerous weather.
