Dear London City Schools Families and Community Members,
Earlier this week, our community experienced a profound loss with the passing of Madison County Sheriff Lieutenant Bryan White. Lt. White dedicated much of his life to serving the people of Madison and Clark Counties, as well as the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI). His commitment to public service touched countless lives, and his loss is deeply felt across the region.
After speaking with representatives from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the funeral home, and in recognition of Lt. White’s strong ties to our community, London High School will host his funeral services next Tuesday, December 9th, at 11:00 a.m.
Because of the large expected attendance, including a significant representation from local and regional law enforcement, classes at London High School will be canceled on Tuesday. London Preschool, London Elementary School, and London Middle School will be open and operate as scheduled.
We are proud to have the opportunity to support Lt. White’s family, colleagues, and friends during this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding and support as we come together to honor a devoted public servant.
