Four London High School students in the district’s Internship Program proudly represented London City Schools at the Student Achievement Fair during the OSBA Capital Conference this week. The Student Achievement Fair highlights 100 exemplary programs statewide that significantly enhance student achievement, showcasing innovative work in areas such as photography, agricultural sciences, environmental initiatives, STEM projects, and transition-to-work programming.
LHS interns Hannah Howard, Myles Kramer, Chase Risner, and Isaac Schaefer attended the event. As part of their visit, the students shared their experiences from their current internships, which provide real-world, career-focused learning in areas such as real estate, athletic training through Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and technology services with K–12 Tech, where students support Chromebook repairs and district technology needs.
By discussing the skills they are gaining and the work they are doing, the interns helped highlight the strength of London’s Internship Program and its commitment to providing students with authentic experiences that prepare them for future career paths.
