London High School Week in Review (October 21–25)

🏐 Varsity Volleyball

Tuesday, October 21 – Away vs. Bishop Ready

London pulled through with a strong performance, winning 3–1 in sets to advance past the district semifinal match in the OHSAA playoffs!

Thursday, October 23 – Away vs. Heath

The Raiders fought hard and swept Heath in three straight sets to become District Champions! An incredible week for London Volleyball!


🏆 Varsity Football

Friday, October 24 – Home vs. Kenton Ridge

The Raiders capped off their regular season in dominant fashion, defeating Kenton Ridge 30-0 to finish undefeated (10-0) and claim the Central Buckeye Conference Championship for the fifth straight year!

London came out strong, leading 15-0 after the first quarter. Defensive lineman Donovan Griggs made a huge play with an interception at the line of scrimmage, setting up a rushing touchdown by Ladainan McNeal, followed by a two-point conversion from Bryston Toronto. Moments later, Toronto found the end zone himself for six more, with Eli Noble adding the extra point.

Heading into halftime, London led 22-0, and the defense continued to shine. Isaiah Near grabbed an interception in the second half, and McNeal broke free for a long-rushing touchdown, his second score of the night, sealing the shutout victory. A true team effort secured a perfect season and another CBC title for the Raiders!


🏃‍♂️ Boys & Girls Cross Country

Saturday, October 25 – Regionals

Congratulations to Cam Carn for placing 9th at the Regional meet and earning a spot at the State Championship race! A fantastic performance representing London Cross Country.


🎺 Pride of London Marching Band

Saturday, October 25 – State Competition

Congratulations to the Pride of London for earning a Superior rating at the OMEA State Competition! Their dedication, discipline, and energy continue to make the Raider community proud.


🏈 Powder Puff Football

Friday, 10/31 at 5:30 pm – Home

The annual Powder Puff game will take place in the football stadium this Friday, 10/31, at 5:30 pm! Come out and support your lady raiders as they take part in this fun tradition!
