London’s 5th-grade beginning band students are starting their mornings at London Middle School, where they gather before the elementary school day to learn the basics of music. Under the direction of Band Director Ryan Freeman, students are introduced to their instruments, learning how to play their first notes, read sheet music, and begin working together as a band.
The program not only builds musical skills but also encourages teamwork, discipline, and confidence. By beginning their day with music, students are energized and inspired, setting a strong foundation for continued participation in middle and high school band.
