This summer, students at London Elementary School experienced a unique and engaging adventure through “Camp Learn S’more,” a playful, camping-themed summer program designed to combine fun with focused learning. Each day, campers embarked on “learning hikes” that took them through a variety of academic challenges, including trail math problems, literacy tasks, and hands-on activities that built essential skills. The environment encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration as students solved clues during scavenger hunts and worked together on problem-solving tasks. The camp’s imaginative approach made learning feel like an adventure, blending academic reinforcement with the excitement of discovery.
A favorite feature of Camp Learn S’more was the storytelling tent, a cozy space where students gathered to listen to and share stories, developing their communication and narrative skills in a supportive setting.
