Students at London Elementary School brought creativity and color to campus through their participation in the “Art That Sticks” summer camp class. As part of the LES Summer School program, students worked together to design and paint a large-scale mural that now brightens the school’s walls. In this fun and engaging class, students learned basic art skills such as sketching, color mixing, and spatial planning while also developing important teamwork and communication abilities. Together, they brainstormed ideas that represented the spirit of London, planned their design, and collaborated to complete a vibrant mural that reflects their school pride and community values. The project not only allowed students to express their creativity but also showed them the power of working as a team to create something meaningful. The finished mural is a lasting tribute to their hard work and imagination, and a daily reminder of what students can accomplish when they bring their ideas to life together.
