Buster helps Miss Tina with School Bus Safety

During the third full week of October, National School Bus Safety Week serves as a public education campaign to promote the importance of school bus safety. It provides an opportunity for parents, students, teachers, motorists, bus drivers, school administrators, and law enforcement agencies to collaborate and emphasize safe practices around school buses. School districts nationwide participate in the observance of this important week.

At London Elementary School, students enjoyed a special visit from Buster the Bus. Buster the School Bus™ is an engaging robot designed to teach key lessons about bus safety. Buster covered essential topics like Bus Stop Safety, Getting On and Off the Bus, and Safe Riding Habits. Even students who do not typically ride a school bus were involved, as they may need to ride one for future field trips or other school activities.

London High School students also joined in by interviewing Buster for their school news program, LHS Now, further spreading awareness about school bus safety.
