Starlight Reading

London Elementary School recently hosted a Curriculum Night for Kindergarten and 1st-grade students with a camping theme. The event was aimed at providing an interactive learning experience for the young students while engaging them in fun and exciting activities. The school transformed the cafeteria, gym, and hallways into a camping site creating a warm and cozy atmosphere for the students and parents.

The learning stations included math games, STEM activities, camping snacks, and reading under the lights, among others. The students participated in hands-on activities that fostered creativity and critical thinking, and the parents had the opportunity to learn about the school curriculum and how they could support their children's education at home. The event was a huge success, and the students left with a renewed love for learning and an appreciation for the great outdoors. Overall, the Curriculum Night was a fantastic way to bring together families and the school community while promoting learning and fun.
