Love and help people through service

This sums up Student Support. London City Schools recognizes and values its students as people first, students second - we strive to ensure their basic, social and emotional needs are fulfilled. Why? Because conditions in children's lives must be right in order for them to be successful academically, socially and emotionally. Current initiatives include:

  • individual therapeutic counseling

  • weekend supplemental nutrition

  • clothing, coats and shoes

  • mentoring with positive and trusting adults

  • grief and loss support

  • suicide prevention training

  • depression and suicide risk screening and intervention

  • substance abuse prevention

  • youth leadership skill development

  • connecting students and families to services and resources
