Eighth-grade students in the Lead4Change program recently shared their inspiring journey of leadership and service with the London City Schools Board of Education, highlighting a year filled with meaningful community impact. During the presentation, student leaders proudly presented a symbolic check for $4,370.55, representing the success of their service projects and fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
As part of the Lead4Change program in their Career Exploration class, students developed valuable leadership, communication, and social-emotional skills while planning and leading initiatives designed to support both their school and the greater community. Through teamwork, creativity, and a commitment to service, these students demonstrated how young leaders can create positive change and inspire others through action.
Their accomplishments reflect the strength of student leadership and the powerful role service learning plays in building compassionate, engaged citizens.
