London Middle School’s 6th and 7th grade band students joined the London High School Marching Band on the field Friday night, getting a firsthand look at what it’s like to perform under the stadium lights. For many, it was their first time experiencing the energy of a high school game from the field, marching in formation, following the drum majors, and feeling the excitement of the crowd.
The experience allowed younger musicians to grow their confidence, connect with older students, and discover what it takes to be part of a larger ensemble. The collaboration inspired enthusiasm and strengthened the bond between the middle and high school music programs, ensuring a strong future for the Red Raider band.
