If you're a London Middle School student or parent, you may have noticed the weekly spotlight known as the SRO Kid to Know—an initiative led by School Resource Officer Langham. Each week, Officer Langham selects a student who is making a difference in the school community, highlighting those who lead with kindness, responsibility, and school spirit. Through short, informal interviews, he gives students the chance to share their stories and interests, helping others see them in a new light. These students may not always be the most visible, but their positive actions help shape a better school culture for everyone.
More than just recognition, the SRO Kid to Know feature builds a connection between students and school leadership, reinforcing a culture of respect, encouragement, and inclusion. By celebrating students who consistently do the right thing, Officer Langham reminds everyone that character counts and good citizenship deserves the spotlight. It’s a simple but powerful way to say, “We see you, and you matter.” Thanks to Officer Langham’s thoughtful approach, the SRO Kid to Know series continues to uplift the LMS community—one student at a time.
