Madison County Prosecutor Nick Adkins has been a long-time supporter of school safety at London City Schools. In August 2020, the Prosecutor’s Office donated approximately $100,000 in seized drug funds to support the installation of door barricades and security film on windows across campus, which strengthened windows making them much more difficult to break. You can read more about that donation here.

This round of support will focus on the installation of additional window film across campus to reduce the line of sight into classrooms, entranceways, and hallways. The cost of the upgrades will total approximately $14,000. When asked about the donation from his office, Adkins commented, “At the Prosecutor’s Office we will continue to make school district safety a priority. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the administration to bolster security measures across the LCS campus.”
