Mr. Wallin

Tyler Wallin, a London High School Science Teacher, was recently nominated as a Cleas Nobel Educator of Distinction. According to the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), which sponsors the award, Tyler was nominated for outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in the profession. Mr. Wallin was nominated by Senior, Dalita Mullins. Daltia wrote, “I believe that Mr.Wallin is deserving of this honor because he is a very hardworking and inspiring educator and makes everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. I remember asking him questions and him literally pulling up a chair to my desk and sitting down with me individually until I understood whatever it was we were covering.”

Mr. Wallin has worked for the London City School District since the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. He currently teaches the four courses within the district’s STEM Biomedical Pathway. When asked about the recognition, Tyler said, “I am extremely honored to have been nominated for this recognition, especially to be nominated by Dailta. She is a very conscientious and hard-working student and a pleasure to have in my courses.”
