London teams were busy all week, competing across the conference and beyond with strong individual performances and standout team efforts. Here’s a breakdown of the action:


🏀 Boys Basketball

The Red Raiders faced a tough road stretch this week. On January 6 at Indian Lake, London fell 76–64 despite a strong offensive night from Luke Johnson, who poured in 23 points, and JJ Calloway, who added 19. Three days later at Kenton Ridge, London battled hard but came up short again, 74–62. Colin Nickell led the scoring with 18 points, while Calloway chipped in 14.


🎳 Bowling

London Bowling competed in three close matches this week. On January 7 at Bethel, the Raiders narrowly lost 2271–2244. Two days later at home against North Union, London dropped another tight contest, 2241–2220. Despite the close scores, the team continues to show consistency and competitiveness on the lanes.


🏊‍♂️ Swimming

London swimmers competed at the Trotwood Madison Invitational on January 7, finishing 10th overall. Griffin Lotton had a huge meet, winning the 200 IM and placing 5th in the 100 breaststroke. James Thompson (6th, 100 freestyle), Gabe Scholl (6th, 200 IM), and Caelan Mars (7th, 200 freestyle) all delivered solid performances. On the girls' side, Grace Lotton led the way with a top-15 finish in the 100 backstroke.


🏀 Girls Basketball

The Lady Raiders had a dominant week at home. On January 7, London overwhelmed Shawnee 55–16 behind balanced scoring. Makaylah Jackson led with 14 points, while Addison Lambert filled the stat sheet with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. On January 10, London followed up with another lopsided win, defeating Alder 67–12. Madilyn Adkins scored 12 points, while Lambert and Jackson each added 10 in another impressive team performance.


🤼‍♀️ Girls Wrestling

London wrestling had an outstanding showing on January 11 at the Fredericktown Invitational, placing 3rd overall out of 17 schools with 148.5 team points. Shayla Lowe captured a 1st-place finish, while Ella Ballah and Karlee Pratt each placed 2nd. Additional placers included Josie Ruble (3rd) and Hannah Howard, Brylee Huff, Khloe Jackson, and Charley Peters, all finishing 5th to round out a strong team effort.
