Kyleigh shares that her favorite Community Service activity is tutoring third graders. At Tolles, Kyleigh is a member of HOSA and will be competing in a skills contest later this year.

: for five years (this year as a field commander), Theater for four years, Quick Recall for four years, Diversity Club for four years, HOSA Officer for one year (Sergeant of Arms), an ongoing Internship at London Health & Rehab, and an ongoing Internship with Memorial Hospital.

When asked to reflect on an educator who has significantly influenced her, Kyleigh named her Chemistry Teacher, Ms. Beverly Goudy. Kyleigh shared:

“Ms. Goudy is an inspiration to me. I have had her for two years of chemistry, and she has made a big difference in how I learn. She inspires me because she believes I can handle challenging work, and that makes me believe in myself, too. Even though CCP chemistry is a tough class, she explains things in a way that makes them easier to understand. She always encourages me to ask questions and to think deeper, which helps me grow as a student. She also teaches in a way that keeps me interested instead of stressed. She makes me want to keep learning and pushing myself to do my best.”

Ms. Goudy, in turn, offered glowing praise for Kyleigh:

"I was fortunate to teach Kyleigh in chemistry a couple of years ago, and she made a lasting impression through her diligence and determination. One memorable moment occurred during a challenging assignment involving redox half-reactions—material that was quite advanced for a general chemistry course. That particular class happened to be an exceptionally strong academic group, and students were permitted unlimited attempts to master each problem and earn an A. Kyleigh approached the assignment with unwavering persistence. She made a few small mistakes along the way, but on her fifth attempt, she succeeded and earned her A. More importantly, she truly understood the material. Two years later, when redox chemistry appeared again in CCP Chemistry, she demonstrated remarkable retention and quickly became a valuable resource for her peers. Kyleigh consistently strives for excellence. After receiving a B on a weekly assessment, she remarked that only A’s were acceptable—not out of perfectionism alone, but because she genuinely aims to fully understand every concept. She went on to earn an A on her CCP Chemistry final exam as well as an A for the course. London can be proud of such a dedicated, capable, and admirable young woman."

After graduation, Kyleigh plans to go to college for Diagnostic Sonography. She is the daughter of Jacquelyn and Jason Madaj of London.
