London City Schools proudly celebrated Veterans Day with assemblies and special events across the district to honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Each building uniquely honored veterans, with activities designed to help students learn, reflect, and show appreciation. Events included guest speakers, such as local veterans who shared their personal stories, as well as student speakers who expressed gratitude and reflected on the importance of service. Students also had the opportunity to explore hands-on displays of military memorabilia, including uniforms, medals, and photos, which helped them connect more deeply with history and understand the sacrifices made by veterans.
Adding to the celebration, the London City Schools choirs performed patriotic songs, creating a moving tribute that filled each assembly with pride and gratitude. The district is thankful to all veterans for their service and remains committed to teaching students the importance of honoring those who protect our country and preserve our freedoms.
