Shoe Sensation Donates to the Raider Rack

The annual Mayor’s Sale at the London Shoe Sensation location recently resulted in a $600 donation to support the district’s Raider Rack. The sale, which provided customers with 10% of everything in the store, donated a matching 10% of sales to the district. Mayor Closser, who began the sale several years ago,  also contributed to the donation to the district.

The Raider Rack is London City Schools' free “store,” which provides clothing, shoes, toiletries, and apparel for district students in need. Although the flagship store is located on the second floor of London Elementary School, smaller locations have been established at both LMS and LHS. The store is sustained by community donations of money and clothing.
