Annually, the London City School District reviews and revises district safety plans in conjunction with the London City Police Department and the Ohio Department of Education/Office of Homeland Security. The district conducts safety drills quarterly to effectively implement its safety procedures.
In the case of an emergency, a school closing, or a delay/early dismissal from school, the district will notify students, staff, and parents using a variety of district communications including automated phone calls, push notifications for the London City Schools App, and postings to the district's website and social media accounts. Families are urged to keep contact information up-to-date in Final Forms to receive notifications.
