For nearly 15 years, Caroline Snoke has been a treasured guest in our classrooms, generously sharing her expertise with our students. Her annual presentations have become a beloved tradition, and this year, her visit perfectly aligned with our 5th-grade science unit. As students explored concepts like symbiotic relationships, food webs, food chains, and the roles of producers and consumers, Caroline Snoke’s engaging presentation on bees brought these ideas vividly to life. She also introduced students to the fascinating anatomy of bees, helping them understand how specialized body parts, like antennae and pollen baskets, support their critical role in ecosystems.
Her explanation of the important relationship between bees and plants, along with her focus on bee anatomy, helped students deepen their understanding of the interconnectedness of nature. Through her passion, detailed knowledge, and real-world examples, Caroline Snoke sparked curiosity, critical thinking, and a greater appreciation for the natural world. We are incredibly grateful for her continued dedication to enriching our students’ learning experiences year after year.
