London Unlimited

The London City School District launched the London Unlimited blended learning program at the start of the 2018-2019 school year. The program has grown each year and currently includes almost 15% of all LHS students taking at least one LU course. The program along with the district’s 1 to 1 device initiative in grades 6-12, allowed LCS to more easily transition to eLearning due to the COVID19 Pandemic.

During the last three years, the London Unlimited program utilized a curriculum called PEAK. Given an opportunity to expand its current online curriculum and do so in a more economical manner, LCS will be transitioning to a program called Schools PLP for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. The transition saves money for the district but also provides options for elementary teachers to use the online coursework as another resource.

The move means that all students currently enrolled in initial credit or credit recovery courses, through London Unlimited, MUST have all courses completed by Thursday, May 21, 2020. Any progress made using the PEAK platform will be lost after May 21st, 2020. LCS will begin enrolling students in our London Unlimited program using the new Schools PLP curriculum beginning June 1st, 2020.
