Goal 1

Each spring, the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) recognizes one graduating senior for outstanding academic performance from each county in Ohio. In order to do this, a selection committee from each local Educational Service Center chooses the county’s top student. This year that designation goes to one of our Red Raiders.

Richie Geib, the son of Marshall and the late Dr. Martha Geib, is currently ranked as the top student in the class of 2020. He plans to attend The Ohio State University as part of the University Honors Program in the College of Engineering. Richie aspires to become a Chemical Engineer.

All 88 county award winners from across the state are usually recognized at a banquet in late April. Unfortunately, this year’s banquet has been postponed.
