Due to issues with the supply of the Pfizer vaccine, the London City School District has rescheduled its vaccination plan for all staff until Friday, February 26th. In order to accommodate the distribution of the COVID19 vaccination to nearly 200 staff members, the district has scheduled this day to be a virtual learning day for all students. Classes will be scheduled in the same manner as classes were held during “Virtual Wednesdays” throughout the year. Each school will send reminders to families early next week.

With the first round of vaccinations scheduled, the district is still hopeful that the Madison County Public Health restrictions currently in place will be relaxed to allow all students to return to school all days in early March. The district is planning on the second distribution of the vaccine on Friday, March 26th. It is likely that a virtual learning day will again be necessary to accommodate the distribution to staff. Families are encouraged to direct any questions to their child’s teacher or school.
