As a result of the extended COVID pandemic, the USDA has now granted an extension of summer meal programs for students. All meals (breakfast & lunch) will be FREE to students, whether in school or learning remotely. This program is in effect until December 31, 2020, or until federal program funds are depleted. LCS encourages families to continue to complete the free/reduced meal application, as regular school breakfast and lunch prices will resume in January 2021.

Also, we will offer breakfast and lunch for those who will be at home 3 days a week, as well as those who have chosen online learning 5 days a week. The meal pickup is scheduled for Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the high school cafeteria back door. YOU MUST SIGN UP PRIOR TO PICK UP by contacting Teresa Murry at 740-852-5700, ext. 3025 or teresa.murry@london.k12.oh.us. If Wednesday pick up time is a hardship, another time arrangement may be possible.

  • Red group (Monday and Thursday) would pick up 3 meals for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

  • White group (Tuesday and Friday) would pick up 3 meals for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Online learners will pick up 5 meals for Monday through Friday.

Each meal served and/or picked up provides funding to your district’s Food Service Department from USDA - not local monies. Taking a free meal can actually save your district money. If you have any questions, please contact Teresa Murry at 740-852-5700, ext. 3025.
