News

Good Evening London Families,

It is likely you are already well aware that earlier today Governor Dewine ordered all on campus instruction for Ohio’s schools cancelled until Monday April 6th, 2020. Earlier in the week, the Governor asked schools to prepare to transition to online instruction. ELearning Days are actually already a part of the district’s approved calamity contingency plans.

I am certain you have many questions about how this might work. Since, like you, we received the news of the three week cancellation during Governor Dewine’s press conference today, we will need to wait on some more details from the Ohio Department of Education before sharing information that might not be in line with particulars of the Governor’s order. Rest assured, we will make every attempt to provide information to you as quickly as possible. In the meantime, school is still scheduled to take place tomorrow and spring break for next week.

London has created a webpage to document and communicate the district's response to this developing situation. In order to ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date information, please also download the district’s App, which is available through Google Play and the App store.

I would like to thank you again for your support as we will continue to keep you updated on the steps we are taking to help keep our students, staff, families, and community safe.

Thank you for listening. Have an excellent evening.
