Colwell and Marriott Commit to Compete at the next Level
On December 12th, 2018, Malorie Colwell and Lily Marriott declared their commitment to further their education and athletic careers. Malorie will be attending the University of Rio Grande to play volleyball, and Lily Marriott will be attending Muskingum University to play softball.
Malorie was a standout 4 year letterman for the Red Raiders Volleyball program earning all league 3 times (1st team So., Sr.; 2nd team Jr.) and all central district 3 times (2nd team So., Jr.; 1st team Sr.). She collected her 1,000 th career dig in her final match as a Red Raider. She was a member of 3 league championship and 3 district runners-up teams. Malorie has also been a 4 year lettermen in our girls basketball program. Malorie will be receiving a full tuition scholarship from the University of Rio Grande.
Lily will be entering her 2nd year of varsity action this spring with our softball program. She was a member of our 2018 league championship team. In the summer, Lily competes for the Bo Jackson Blast team. Lily is ranked in the top 20 of the senior class, and although Muskingum can not award athletic scholarships, Lily will be receiving academic money for her efforts in the classroom.
