London City Schools Mourns the Loss of 2014 Graduate Clayton Geib
The London City School District is mourning the loss of 2014 graduate Clayton Geib, who passed away late Monday, September 18th, 2017. Clayton was the son of the late Martha Geib, a long time London City School District Board Member and local pediatrician, and Marshall Geib, London High School’s current Academic Booster President.
Clayton was the epitome of a model student at London High School. Although soft spoken, he was known to many as a quiet leader. His bright smile, determination, and thoughtfulness were well known to his classmates. While a student at LHS, Geib was a member of the Quick Recall team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honor Society. Because of his dedication to academics, Clayton was recognized as the Class of 2014 Salutatorian.
Geib’s interscholastic athletic achievements mirrored his success in the classroom at LHS. Clayton was a three-year letter winner in football, and during his senior year, was named 1st Team All Mid States League, 1st Team Central District, 3rd Team All Ohio, and earned All Ohio Academic Honors.
Funeral arrangements for Clayton are currently pending.
