Riley to Lead London Elementary School
Forward-thinking, driven, & gregarious are a few of the phrases used to describe London Elementary's new principal John Riley. After an expedited search, which generated over thirty applicants, Mr. Riley was unanimously appointed to the position on Monday. John's unique experiences, welcoming personality, and drive for excellence demonstrated he was best for the position. He will officially begin his duties on August 1st.

Although new to the district, Mr. Riley is not new to Madison County having most recently taught for Tolles Career Center in Plain City and earlier in his career at Jonathan Alder Local School District. Ironically, John's wife, Amber, once attended the school he is now charged with leading.

John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Morehead State University, a Master's of Arts Degree in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene, and received his administrative license from the University of Dayton. He is currently completing his Doctoral Degree, which focuses on instructional design and technology education, at Morehead State.

"I think John's optimism and enthusiasm are infectious and our students and staff will be unable to stop smiling upon meeting him," said District Superintendent Lou Kramer, "combined with his leadership capabilities, I could not be anymore excited for the coming years at LES."
