2017-2018 ALL ABOARD!

Step on up and take a ride with us to increase our school district resources to support the physical, social and emotional needs of our students! This year we are fueling our locomotive and adding power to our train. First up, The Raider Rack, a free store located at school where students PK-12 can shop for new clothing, shoes and outerwear. And second, Youth Led Prevention, a substance abuse prevention and leadership skill development program for high school students.
Last year we engineered successful partnerships with The Counseling Source, Sufficient Grace, Big Brother Big Sister, Nationwide Children's Hospital Center For Suicide Prevention and Research, Madison County Family & Children First Prevention Department and brought needed services to our students in the areas of individual therapeutic counseling, weekend food, mentoring, mental health training, alcohol literacy education, depression and suicide screening, assessment and intervention. New funding sources were sought out and received thanks to the Mental Health & Recovery Board, Target Distribution Center, ACE Hardware, Walmart, United Way, Churches, Civic Groups, Local Businesses and Private Individuals. And, time was invested in community involvement which brought about free summer camp, art classes and pool passes for students.
Sound the whistle! The office of Student Support is on the fast track for another exciting school year!
