January Board of Education Organizational and Regular Meeting Recap for January 8th, 2019

The London City School Board of Education met on Tuesday, January 8th for its organizational meeting and first regular meeting of 2018. During the organizational meeting, the Board elected Darryl Brown and Jonathan Stahl to remain as President and Vice President, respectively, for 2019. The Board established the following regular meeting dates for 2019: January 8th, February 12th, March 12th, April 9th, May 14th, June 25th, July 9th, August 6th, September 10th, October 8th, November 5th, and December 10th. All regular meetings are scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm and will be held at London High School in room 311.  More +

Spiess Signs: Poised to Head to Falconland

On December 19th , 2018, Brennan Spiess signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Bowling Green State University and to play football for the Falcons. Brennan helped lead the Red Raiders to an 11-2 record and a regional final in the state playoffs. For his efforts, he received the following recognitions as a running back: 1st Team All-Mid-State League, 1st Team All-Central District Division IV, and 2nd Team All-Ohio Division IV. He will be heading to BGSU as an athlete. More +

Colwell and Marriott Commit to Compete at the next Level

On December 12th, 2018, Malorie Colwell and Lily Marriott declared their commitment to further their education and athletic careers. Malorie will be attending the University of Rio Grande to play volleyball, and Lily Marriott will be attending Muskingum University to play softball. More +

All London Schools Receive Purple Star Awards for Efforts to Support Military Families

The London City School District appreciates the sacrifices that our men and women in the military make everyday. Inspired by an Ohio of Education program, the district began efforts last spring to increase resources and lessen the burden of service to militarily-impacted families.
