About Prodigy

At Prodigy Student Travel, our goal is simple: to provide a safe tour and an educational experience for students, all at a great value for schools and parents. We believe travel is one of the best ways to teach students that anything – anything – is possible! Whether taking a tour of The White House, standing in awe of the sentinels at Arlington National Cemetery, seeing the spectacle of Times Square, or taking in the majesty of the Statue of Liberty, seeing is believing. Prodigy Student Travel helps open your students' eyes—and their minds to a world of possibilities.

Attention Parents

What should I plan on packing/buying for my child’s Washington Trip?

On Monday, May 9th we will go over specific trip details at the parent meeting, however I understand wanting to be prepared ahead of time. With that said, here are some items that will be helpful for your child to pack for the DC trip!

  • Drawstring bag that is large enough to carry:

    • Trip binder (provided by the school)

    • Phone

    • Wallet/Money holder

    • Pencil

    • Anything else they may want to carry around during the day

  • Poncho or Raincoat

    • It rained all day, everyday last year. The outside activities take place rain or shine

  • An extra pair of walking shoes and extra socks

    • Wet feet are not fun

  • Ziplock bag in case it’s raining to put the phone in

  • Sunscreen

    • It has been 95 degrees and sunny some years. Make sure to have sunscreen in case this is one of those years

  • A travel water bottle

  • Comfortable and appropriate clothing for all four days

    • Shirts will be provided for Wednesday and Thursday

    • Students may wear shorts, but should be an acceptable length

  • Snacks

    • For the bus, as well as the room.

    • All drinks on the bus need to have a resealable or closable lid and may not contain dairy.
