The annual US News and World Report rankings for Ohio's best high schools is out and LHS fared rather well. The rankings take into account college readiness and college curriculum (judged solely on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses), math and reading performance on state assessments, and graduation rate. According to the source, London ranked 167th of 916 high schools in Ohio. When comparing LHS to schools in the county and those in which we either gain or lose students to open enrollment, LHS had success. London finished not far behind Jonathan Alder (122nd) and West Jefferson (123rd) and well ahead of Grove City HS (242nd), Northeastern (309th), Madison Plains (413th), and Mechanicsburg (Not ranked due to a lack of AP courses). The district's performance is a result that we can be proud of with some caution and understanding.
